Challenge

A leading thermal barcode printer manufacturer commissioned Primeyoung to design electrical motors to run fast and high torque performance without overheating problem. Plus it is required to be fitted into the limited mechanical space inside the printer properly.

We are also challenged to require the motor solutions to be reliable in quality to meet the client’s expectation and to be cost effective to meet their budgetary plan.

Solution

To meet the needs of our client, the mechanical design was changed to meet the space without intervening the printer’s frame. Our solution is to provide suitable components and meet the industrial standard with a less cost, so this customized motor can be satisfied by the client needs.

Additionally, a customized winding and resistance were designed for motors to approach its optimal performance. We are dedicated to fully discuss with client’s engineering team to ensure the evaluation was completed as requested and collaborate with them until the quality and electrical performance is reliable.
